could you recommend me a vpn and an e-mail service?

self host your own email, email is not private no matter what, because of how email works, so just self host. In terms of vpn use mullvad, the only real vpn, you can use tor if you like to wait 30 hours for something to load

Another vote for riseup.net. They seem to have a decent reputation for privacy practices and also have a free VPN if you're poor (+1 for Mullvad otherwise) only issue being it's invite only.

I have mixed opinions about Marco's suggestion to host your own email server. It's essentially a lifetime commitment; you'd need to maintain the server (not difficult) including paying for it and screwing around with deliverability, renew the domain each year (unless you pay for many years) and if you decide to give up the domain or forget to renew, you need to move all of your accounts away from the email address before letting the domain expire, otherwise anyone else could re-register it and steal your accounts. Emails are inherently insecure, if you're very concerned consider regularly nuking your mailbox, PGP-crypt your messages and suggest your friends to do the same.
I do not sell data. Please do not ask.

Self-hosting your own email server is great option, if you know what you're doing. Otherwise, just use riseup.net or cock.li.
Do not trust anyone.

Yep, best answer right here probably. Email services like Proton are misleading, they can still give out information by law.

(Also nice signature, gave me a good laugh)

Protonmail more like fedmail, protonmail is the ultimate honeypot and 1337 H4XX0R youtubers normalized it as the "hacker email" while its actually the fourteen eyes email, self host or cock.li maybe

REMEMBER TO USE PGP OR OTHER ENCRYPTION WITH YOUR EMAILS (email protocol is as safe as the image below)

Kuto is recommended for VPN. You can use the invitation mechanism to brush members.
