I agree.. I think military experts said something around a needed ratio of at least 3 to 1 if you invade from the sea. Taiwan has approx 1 million soldiers - So China will need around 3-4 million soldiers. Moving 3-4 million soldiers is a gigantic logistical effort..

taiwan face massive pressure from China both Politically and diplomatically, but a attack seems impossible for now

China will not attack Taiwan, mainly because they don't have big enough fleet to transport troops to Taiwan, as the maximum troops that China can transport is 31k somewhere between these lines, but to think about any invasion they need to be able to transport at least 250k troops.

Otherwise, west want to beat war drums and scare monger that China will invade Taiwan, but the only true way how China can invade is trough economic means and just having control over Taiwanese economy.

What do you think?
What's your opinion?

Taiwan produces like 88% of the worlds semi-conductors. China has considered Taiwan part of the mainland for centuries and they are starting to think that it's a bit unorthodox, let's say, that the US is receiving most of the benefits of what they consider to be part of china. What it really comes down to is whether Taiwan is part of mainland china or not.

Absolutely. The 003 aircraft carrier that just launched not long ago is a very clear signal, and many years of political education are also for this goal. Unlike Ukraine in the eyes of Russians, if you have been to China, you will find that people's attitude towards Taiwan is consistent from the heart. And even in Taiwan, many young people no longer hate reunification as much as the older generation did. The world is changing, whether you like it or not, get ready

China have not ready for a war. While the economic situation get worse, the Chinese government will put more energy to contain domestic stability.

Yes, we have to face it. Stop it

A direct military invasion is highly unlikely anytime soon. A part from military logistics, the economic and geopolitical consequences of, even a successful invasion, would be greater than the benefits. I'm sure China is more interested in the current process of sinicization in (mainly) non NATO aligned nations, until they have established a political and economic foothold in these countries, I don't see them engaging in drastic military efforts (assuming they would even need or want to).
