In July 2016, the virtual world game Kaneva suffered a data breach that impacted 3.9 million players. The breach included Usernames, Email addresses, Dates of birth and Passwords stored as MD5 hashes. After the breach the game subsequently shut down in 2017 and now the domain redirects to the game publishers website.
