USE XMPP FOR COMMUNICATIONS!! 

Here are some recommendations for actual secure communications. I personally use servers in other countries that can't be siezed by the U.S. 

• xmpp.cn - my favorite
• xmpp.vn -
• jabber.ua
• darknet.im - they host in Switzerland i believe. Very solid service.

I agree, but why not self host your own xmpp if you have a server and domain for it? and why do people still call it jabber : (

Lol, it's nice bad opsec if all your info is fake and you will be missing out on all the news and great data you can download if you dont got it... Also never use no ones xmpp or matrix servers, make your own and harden it yourself. They are easy to maintain and run!
