I think i might have to upgrade my PSU if i'm gonna get 40 series... the 30 series is pushing my 750W to the limits as it is! I would probably be on an 850 minimum with a 30 series card these days. Skip the 40 series I say, see what happens with the 5XXX models. As for the answer to this question, i think 30 series is better. UNLESS you have a dire need for the 40 series for maybe a business or computational purpose. But still around the same power Good advice. Can't see a good situation from buying used GPU's these days and absolutely no one will NEED a 4XXX series. I pretty much always skip a generation, especially with how prices are now. If you want a used card now is the time to buy before the market recovers and prices stabilize. |
