imo, i think gpu prices will continue to decrease considering that eth will no longer can be mined, so miners will continue to sell their gpus

I'm hoping to get a decent deal on a 30XX model once the 40XX line comes out. The power draw rumors over the 40XX series is quite daunting.

If you're not in a hurry then wait for the 4000 series to come out. If power is not an issue then you can get yourself a better card for roughly the same MSRP as the 3000 series.

this seems to be the problem with the next gen. amd 7k series will have the same issue. i try to imagine next gen amd + nvidia, a decent pc will likely require 1000+ watt psu.
