In my opinion the best conspiracy theory is the despair code, it is such an interesting concept. Also /x/ theories are just better.

actually number 1 is somehow true. Called "the history is written by the winners" and this bias is well known by historians.

2. there is no doubt as this would be impossible to fake. Same as with flat-earth - impossible to hold up this conspiracy theory as this would need a perfect and impeccible communication, coordination etc. - we can't even enforce taxes globally so impossible to enforce something like that globally whithout leaks everywhere
