Russian President Vladimir Putin "met with the mothers of servicemen" - participants in the "special military operation", the Kremlin press service said on the afternoon of November 25. The meeting was held at the presidential residence in Novo-Ogaryovo.

At the beginning of his speech, Putin said that he “decided to talk to the mothers of servicemen” in order to hear their assessments, opinions, ideas, and proposals “first hand”. He assured that he will try to make sure that everything they talk about is taken into account and used in real life.

At the meeting, the president said that he had previously spoken with participants in the war in Ukraine (this was not previously reported). He claims to have contacted them by phone through their mothers.

Judging by the videos distributed by the presidential press service, 18 women participated in the meeting. We Can Explain claims to have identified several participants in the meeting. Among them were Moscow official and United Russia deputy Olga Beltseva, head of the executive committee of the All-Russian People's Front in the Moscow region Yulia Belekhova and member of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo Public Chamber Marina Migunova. According to the publication, the director Olesya Shigina, who shoots Orthodox patriotic films, sat closest to Putin. Whether the real mothers of the soldiers were at the meeting is unknown.

At the meeting, Putin said the following:
"But you know what comes to my mind, I already mentioned it somehow. Approximately 30,000 people die in traffic accidents, and about the same number from alcohol. And sometimes, unfortunately, this is how life develops, life is complex and diverse, more complicated than it is written somewhere in pieces of paper, but we are all under the Lord, under Allah, under Christ, I don’t know, everyone who believes in higher powers, it doesn't matter what religion he adheres to, the important thing is that we are all mortal, we are all under the Lord. And someday we will all leave this world, it is inevitable.

The question is how we lived. After all, some live or do not live - it is not clear, and how they leave - from vodka or from something else - it is not clear, and then they left. Lived or did not live - it also imperceptibly slipped somehow: whether a person lived, or not. And your son lived, you understand? His goal has been achieved. This means that he did not leave life in vain. Do you understand? In this sense, of course, his life turned out to be significant, lived with the result, and with the one he aspired to. This is the first thing I would like to say."

In other words, he doesn't care about people's lives. For him, life is not even worth lying to the camera. People's lives are not even worth feigned sympathy. You cannot negotiate with such a person.

The mothers weren't real. He wouldn't risk meeting the real ones.
