You will most likely fail. First, you need to understand what is DDOS. I suggest you try Wikipedia. Then try to understand the logic between network protocols and packets. From there you can find a RAT or if you have programming skills you can develop your own. After that -assuming you did take over hundreds of zombie PCs, you can start your DDOS attack.
Most websites have efficient protection against DDOS attacks. Such as Cloudflare. So you need to do a little research before you start attacking websites. Short yet advanced answer, but I prefer if you added more information regarding the usage and some limitations, unless if you meant to not mention it yeah,howver i did fail to mention if your internet goes off, its because the advanced tool,LOIC, is trying to mask your ip address by rerouting your ip address and masking it so you don't get arrested.
