I feel like 2,000 messages is far too easy to obtain, I'm already at 4k, the award should be given at maybe 5k or 10k messages.

Edit: @penis suggested there should be a separate award for a higher message count, keeping the one for 2k messages. Not sure what to think of this, I wouldn't be against it.

No, I don't do that.
I feel like the award should be for truly special people, it should be difficult to earn.

I mean, I'm already past 5k, people can easily get 5k-10k per week if they put effort into it.
At this rate even the more inactive users are all going to have the award in a month or two.

The award should be about activity and not just raw posts. For example, there may be more value in 100 of my messages than there is in 1000 of yours. What I want to say with this is that activity does not equal 5000 messages. Activity means a constant flow of messages over a certain period of time.
