Cracking bcrypt hashes.

I have a 3090ti, do I have any chance at cracking a Bcrypt hash?  what software would you recommend for trying it, currently have hashcat installed. If you have a nice dictionary to try link it. If all the dictionaries I try dont do the trick ill try to brute force it with a mask

if you only have one graphic card i would not recommend attemping to brute force with a mask, its is very slow and not cost effective. People who are cracking bcrypt like that are using rigs of 3090s with FPGA

I have a single hash and all day lol, the 3090ti is on the server not on my main PC, so i can have it for 2 weeks if its required

Don't know your arrangement with a server provider, or if its your server, but bruteforcing will take a lot of time and will cost a lot. Do you know how many char is the password? I couldn't find hashcat benchmark for 3090ti but on 3090 it is 96662 H/s for brypt blowfish. If its only 1 hash and you really want to crack it without spending a lot of money, i would just find some company that will try to crack it for you like "gpuhash.me" , im pretty sure you only have to pay there if it gets sucesfully cracked

I used it years ago and it worked fine, and you can always verify the hash is cracked by matching the hash to bcrpt. Gpuhash is pretty legit on other forums like hashkiller. Cant vouch for them 100% but it worked for me . As i said, it will tell you if they cracked it or not and if its cracked, then you pay and see the password. Dont know if thats changed

Apparently, the newer NVIDIA cards are perfect for this.

You are probably better off paying someone with a proper setup to do it for you.

bcrypt is slow af. I would start building a custom wordlist before you access a beefy hash cracking rig. Find out older passwords of emails you know, take the language of it, incorporate pet names, date of birth etc. Then start cracking. Its very unlikely that you manage to find the right one, but that at least get you better chances.
