It would be cool to add a programming section to the forum. I see there already is one but instead of having 1 section to lump everything together I think it would be a great addition to have sections like:

programming
>c#
>c++
>python
>visual basic
> .. and so on

that way it would be organized and make it easier to post tutorials n find information based upon which language. I see theres lots of programmers on here & It would help out alot.

Hey, I've joined mostly for the sole purpose of posting there and interacting with people who are interested in learning about security. Seeing as there isn't much activity (well, I'm not sure how big this forum is), would fragmenting it like that do good? Perhaps I'm over-thinking it, but there doesn't seem to be much activity yet to warrant categorizing stuff. The problem with categorizing it like that is that, now, threads that you otherwise would've seen/interacted with, are no longer visible.

I feel if it was sectioned off it would attract people to post in those sections because they know where to go to ask for help or post tutorials. having everything lumped into just one big section is really messy & for me kinda turns me away for that reason. If I wanna learn lets say python it'd be nice to be able to go to a section labeled python and have all python related topics. that's just my two cents though.

Even though I like this suggestion, I think the sections will be inactive, that's why only a general section for the moment is good.
