Proxies

Hello guys,
Wanted to know which proxies u guys use and where u get them from. Probably better to use ISP for better anonymity? Is using proxies also better than VPN? Thank you for your reply in advance! :)

Proxies for browsing the Internet have fallen out of fashion in favour of VPNs - which can also provide things like DNS and ad blocking et cetera - however proxies are still purchased in bulk for things like port scanning, web scraping, or combo checking. I'm not sure where to get good residential proxies, since 911 Proxies got taken down.

Mullvad, CryptoStorm are my personal suggestions for VPN though.

It all depends on what you find the most trustworthy:

A. Your ISP (profit motivated, vulnerable to government requests for information, will possibly sell your demographic/browsing data for $$)
B. Your VPN (profit motivated, vulnerable to government requests for information, will probably sell your demographic/browsing data for $$)
C. The proxy provider (profit motivated, criminal, will almost definitely mine your data for login credentials to sell for $$$$)

Yeah, just use a VPN and/or TOR for privacy/anonymity. Free proxies are garbage, and the only reason to BUY proxies is for scraping/scanning at scale.

The funniest are the so called FREE proxies. Why will a serious fellow use free proxies?
