I have no clue how the imperial system works. I'm from a country which uses the metric system and I was wondering how the imperial system works and what use cases there are for it apart from the obvious.

Nobody should use it and you should not need to learn it, it is way to outdated.

Well that's right. The metric system makes perfect sense, working on base 10
The imperial system works on base spazz. Base spazz as was previously mentioned is outdated and obsolete.

The metric system goes by a system of tens, which is SO much easier to calculate in your head

Yea and also I don't get that in the us they put sales tax on items at checkout like wtf
