They type the sqli query for each individual row (they must do this by hand otherwise they're skids)

As a legitimate reply.

There's no definitive answer, there's quite a significant number of ways a hacker could obtain a database. The most common being SQL injection and NoSQL injection. but this isn't very common for huge sites, and a lot of huge sites aren't even on SQL.

I always wondered the same thing, I guess some social engineering is also involved in big data breaches. A human error at some point should have occurred to allow those kind of breaches

[SOLVED]

FACT 1 => Hackers Don't download data on their PC.

FACT 2 => They use VPS for dumping large amount of data.

FACT 3 => In most cases They don't use VPN due to their bandwidth

FACT 4 => For staying anonymous they use another method (like proxy).

If you can administer a connection using a db solution of your choice (heidisql or I think you can even pipe it through a CLI) then dumping the tables is really easy from there

yes yes, I agree. Stick all unknown USBs from the street in your personal computer. Make sure you also have your antivirus off too  😉
