Alright, I've never watched anime and had no idea about it. It sort of seemed a childish thing to me. 
Anyways, I'm a little curious now so like where do I start from?

I'd honestly suggest starting with Boku no Pico, it's a great choice.

Death Note's pretty okay imo.
Also, genoanime.com is a free website I found to watch anime, and it has a download option.
