Good anti-virus software?

Does anyone know of any good anti virus software? I've heard of the big ones, Avast etc, but I've come to understand that a lot of the time the lesser known ones can have their benefits. Willing to pay for one, but preferably not too pricey.

The best antivirus is your fucking brain. If you're downloading something in order to protect yourself from getting infected, you're a fucking retard that shouldn't be allowed to exist. Your only purpose is to be exploited by those smarter than you, making you believe in such bullshit.

The best antivirus is common sense, but any one like nod32, kaspersky, panda dome or if you want to go to something harder fortinet, palo alto, cloudfare?
It depends on what you plan to do

Using your brain and not falling for useless tech companies that do common things

I do not use any anti-virus software, cuz none of them meet my full demands. So I do anti-virus on my own

common sense and if you download a lot of stuff rather use a VPS and then Kaspersky, Panda, etc.

Do you have a specific intention or purpose for one?

AV aren't required for general browsing and software checks
