It seems that China has decided to continue conducting live drills around Taiwan after its previously announced live fire exercises ended on Sunday. How long do you think they will keep these exercises going? Does this mean that there will eventually be an attack?

As long as the attention to their internal crisis is forgotten? which will take about a week or so. And most likely the intensity of the live fire exercises will reduce even before it ended. Dont think there will be an attack, they are not ready yet for full-blown conflict.

There is no reason to retreat, only to continue to maintain the status quo. Because this is the inland sea of others. How can we make concessions after breaking through the blockade of the United States

Does the US get involved? Does Japan? Does Russia make moves in Europe to apply multiple pressure points on the US?
If China establishes a beach head, then Taiwan is probably lost. If Taiwan can apply enough damage to the Chinese heavy transport ships then they have a shot at a stalemate.

I doubt that China is keen on escalating things to a full-blown war, but at the same time I believe that China might be looking to set a strong precedent with this incident. If they let this go too quickly, other countries might wind up following in the footsteps of the US.
