Aaa, I would say depends, from a lot of factors, they wanted to use this opportunity to get what's theirs back ( I'm joking, don't cut me for it), but there are a couple of things that might be a no no deal for the Winnie: 1. they saw how their gud budy " took Ukraine in 48h", 2. They saw what the sactions are doing to the russian economy on the big scale. 3 China can't have the leisure to close the country... Anyways its up to {US /(us)} to stop them and to show them that we mean business ( NATO ), by declaring Russia as a terrorist state and to maybe incline russians to end that dude already and at the same time to show to China that we'll miss her everything ( imports) but she'll be even worse without our $$. Maybe then she'll back off. Until then i dont really see a point for her to do that. Pelosi came and went away, they are not so far from Putin, if he can fabricate everything on the go, so do Winnie.

This analysis is very well done. But looking at how the US is still doing visits like this, I doubt this China will step down any time soon. They seem to be putting more effort into creating tensions than into trying to make sure that China does not escalate things further.
