How much information can someone gather on me by just knowing my main email?

More than enough.

using tools such as epieos you can find out information such as the name associated to the account and the websites you have signed up on
you can check breachdirectory to see if your email has been in any breached databases
you can also find plenty of websites to help you find more info such as osintframework

Well, share your mail and we'll let you know.

that's usually more than enough for Doxxers to fully de-anon you, finding your full name and physical address at least

If you're talking about your own personal mail, just think about every single service you have shared your address and name, all of that info can be potentially used to track you.

The above answers are correct. INtelx, Github tools like Ghunt & Mosint also do their job well

Researching a contact starts with their email research. Anybody who uses internet will always leave trail behind
