The Guardian just received a massive Uber leak!
Here's some basic info
• Over 124,000 confidential documents have been leaked
• The files exposed attempts to lobby huge political figures like Joe Biden, Olaf Scholz and George Osborne
• Apparently Emmanuel Macron secretly aided Uber lobbying in France during his time as a minister of economy
• Company used a ‘kill switch’ during raids to stop police seeing data
• Uber executives were fully aware of the company's legal voilations, one of the execs stated they became “pirates” and another one saying: “We’re just fucking illegal.”
I wonder how much info got left out of the report. Guardian preaches the freedom of information but I bet we'll never get a public access to all those files. What do you guys think?
