I'm sure Kali is used by some. But the tools and scripts themselves are all that matter.
sqlmap and nmap are easily usable on windows, for example. Depends on your objective

Windows is pretty good now since the WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) was created. If you're a cool guy, use Arch Linux, trust me you will like it.

I mean it's possible to, however, you would need to really search hard, and know how to reverse engineer like extremely well.

Get over kali, it is not a good OS from my perspective. A bunch of tools that you will never use, windows + wso is more than enough

Which data you're referring to? Besides that, Kali and other "penetration testing OS"es are nothing more than a theme and 3rd party tools. You can use any OS you like and you can do the exact same thing while being in comfort of your OS of your choosing. Windows + WSL gets the job done for a lot of things though, that's what I'm using anyways.

From my experience I pretty much agree with eveyone here, Penetration testing OS are mostly crap it's way better to just roll a distro you like and install the tools you need. However I would advise everyone to try them first since you may like them or you may learn something from it. Most of the times the best option in this field is to try things by yourself and then create your own opinion.

Kali is just a tool what matters is how you use it and what you use with it.
