Posts: 12 Threads: 0 Joined: N/A Hello, It is very hard to get completely anonymous E-Mails. I use a cock.li E-Mail right now. I could create it over Tor, but I needed an Invitation. So it can get linked back to my other E-Mail, I only rarely access over Tor. You could say cock.li deletes the connection, but nobody except Vincent Canfield can know for sure. I also don't care about the Provider handing data over to the feds, cuz I only ever wanna access it over Tor. My expectations for a private E-Mail are: - You need to be able to register completely over Tor.
- You shouldn't have to provide any Information, that could ever get linked back to you. (prev. E-Mail, Phone Number, Invitation Link...)
- You always should be able to read and write Mails over Tor.
- NO SELF HOSTING. I know that is an option, and I know it isn't that hard but I am aware about this and don't wanna make a mistake setting everything up.
I hope that some good options get posted here, to make it to a helpful thread for others. Thanks in advance :) Posts: 15 Threads: 0 Joined: N/A Damn you got a invite to cock.li ? been trying to get my hands on one to test out the service. Do not rely on VPNs, they ain't it. Library wifi? Why? You're going through TOR, so... ??? And most of libraries have CCTV, so if they really want to get u, they will. I'd say that if you're using email you can use any, better if it can be used over Tor and also encrypt ur mails, because they are sent in plaintext, and it can be all sniffed all the way thru. I hope this comment helps in some way, guys. But If you want one you could write a bot and deploy it on a server, which scrapes this forum and tries found codes out. I wont do it but I dont have to, but it should be straight forward. Forums mostly use apis instead of server side rendering. Sometimes couple codes are postet. Posts: 41 Threads: 0 Joined: N/A Why not just use mail-in-a-box and self-host an email solution? You control who can access the email, the box it's running on, what ports are open, and what services are available, and you can even run it behind tor. Once you are done with the email, you can delete it or completely wipe the server that the email service is running on. It's not cost friendly either ? is it not mostly complicated to set this type of configuration up? It's not cost friendly either ? I am using it takes less than 40 USD to setup and have more things on it such as privacy frontends. Use a mail in box on a host that accepts monero and encrypt your email with your pgp key. Posts: 147 Threads: 0 Joined: N/A August 3, 2022 at 11:07 AM proton mail over tor |
