For about 3 months I got rid of my Windows laptop and went 100% linux with no regrets. Has anyone done this and what has been your experience?

September 2, 2022 at 9:22 PM September 4, 2022 at 8:02 PM no shit everyone in here done it or they would be arrested by feds... windows sends your data to microsoft 24/7 — In case of an investigation by any federal entity or similar, hi. — XMPP (OTR/OMEMO): [email protected] Signal: (old number removed) September 4, 2022 at 8:05 PM 60% linux mint from 2019. but i still use windows for entertainment(for retarded things like gaming) for so far i only got few issues with 4k screen. sometimes program window might go wild and teleport out of my monitor and it rolls and unfolds outside from screen and i can see animation that goes on the side of a screen. that only happened after sleep mode tho. also there are enough bugs in programms like if you install something with #sudo apt-get install there are missing mentions in libs and nothing works properly. that you sometimes need to fix by hand like gcc compiler, i got a ton of missing libs that i already installed and for some reason they are really installed but main instance doesnt know about it, bcs mentions are missing. huuh uwu~ as of what i was not expecting, linux works perfectly even on broken pc parts, like dead gpu's wich never give any image after windows 10 default drivers install. but with linux it even hashes properly with nice hasrate and never go black screen. i had a dead i7 with broken core 0 wich you can NOT purge from system unlike 3-2-1 cores, fur some reason linux works without any issues, even with load. but the core is definitely broken. when i run bench or any load on a this speciefic core, system goes wrong or test stops. and this is the core win10 utilises much. but linux simply works ok. i tested ddr4 dimms with bad results in memtest. and for some reason linux just works fine and i never got any issues browsing unlike windows. hell even dota 2 worked perfectly utilising whole dimm sticks. yo linux works on any garbage! my laptop with win10 dies with coding within 2-3 hours, but with linux it works for 5-6 hours. (win 10 is fresh &removed bloatware) hell. go with linux if your mother is not gay. and you will be a real nice cutie~~ uwu~ btw there are some missing software in linux, but you can sometimes find something similar or use *wine to run soft from windows. there is qemu VM, it's great thing on linux. why windows? this old marketing garbage is just popular with retards, we must move on linux in future!!! September 6, 2022 at 12:48 AM Absolutely. I haven't used Windows for anything in years. I really hate working with it. It's just terrible for opsec and it's a data miner that runs 24/7. Everyone on this forum should be running a hardened linux distribution. September 6, 2022 at 12:52 AM I went 100% for just over a year, then starting messing around with libvirt and GPU passthrough for gaming with a windows VM, I'm still running Linux on everything minus my gaming PC since I decided I would rather have 1 PC just for gaming/YouTube |
