Thankfully prices are going down, so I reckon an RTX 20XX for now, 30XX in the near future if you want to wait for prices to drop..

AMD's fidelity FX is good tech.

Honestly, this and DLSS get so overshadowed by RAY TRACING. I mean, whats a more fitting selling point? Shiny puddles or underperforming hardware being actually viable with FidelityFX & DLSS?

RTX 3080 is the best one for me right now. Everything is too much overkill and the price is over the moon :D

Since ether switched to a new protocol, the price of graphics cards will fall or have already fallen. have not verified this information. so wait and you can buy RTX 3080

That depends what you need it for, I guess. The price is also an indicator. If you don't know any better, then just get the most expensive one you can find. I am hopeful that AMD will have a good offer soon when it's time for me to upgrade. I don't want to buy NVIDIA again because I feel like they are proper assholes with their LHR crap and their snobby and hostility tactics against GPU vendors which prompted NVGA to cut the umbilical cord with this chip maker. So unless you need a new graphics card like "right now", then I suggest you wait a bit longer for AMD RX 7000 series.
