Telegram hosts all your stuff on their cloud, you can request a copy of it and see all the chat messages you've sent even if you clear history / delete the group.
It used to be prime back in the day, few years ago.. but now there's too much risks. Lot of bad shit on there though so I see why. It's like a password manager, probably shouldn't use one hosted on their own private cloud.. never know what they'll give LE if you get arrested.
