I was looking into getting the YouTube promoter, but didn't want to let google sell my data. Anyone know a working method?

Use a service that provides SMS authentication codes (a paid website, a free one won't work)
Gmail is probably the most expensive for receiving SMS.

Get the burner sim, create the Google account, put 2FA with the burner number, generate the codes for 2FA, remove the number and keep only 2FA codes to login.

Google selling your data? That is not enough reason. May be YOU just want to be anonymous.

I just wanted to get a youtube account specifically, for the youtube promoter award.

Wear an anon mask and put 'unspecified' in every entry.
