Apex Legends is a pretty chill game.
Lots of movement mechanics you can spend all your time mastering. Check out this vid (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MVzZ06q5AQ), and just look at how many movement techniques there are.
Time to Kill is also close to 2 seconds on all automatics, so aim is rewarded unlike braindead ability spam in other games.
Recoil can be negated by simply flicking your mouse side-to-side really quickly so you only really have to learn 3 or so recoil patterns.
You can also just play for fun and troll enemies simply by moving really erratically, or griefing them when they fight others.

Go Hell Let Loose, the most hardcore FPS game i have ever seen, take you back to world war II, definitely worth it!

G.T.F.O is a really good game, if you're alone theres a big discord with full of people doing raids 24/7.

Try to buy it when its on 25% discount tho. Its better for the wallet :)

Squad is a good choice for you. This game has updated V3.0 recently.

COD warzone really has some great gunplay, plus it feels awesome to body random kids lol

i played a lot call of duty black ops 2 but after that never played much fps games anymore. would like the answer to

escape from tarkov or hunt showdown are both fun FPS with a high skill ceiling and learning curve. Doom if you just wanna kill shit and headbang to some metal!

Valorant is a nice one :)

Try ARMA3. The best one
