Linux for development, coding and server stuff as well as most basic usage (web browsing docs etc)
Windows for gaming and legacy apps

I don't know why but i just fiddle with Linux and not get anything done. So Windows FTW(ork)?

there will never be a better os than windows XP

If you are not a coward you should use windows XP, live dangerously for a bit

But seriously, I like Ubuntu but wouldn't call it "the best", obviously not the best os for most people's use-cases

The "security" and "privacy" are a mere illusion for the people who don't do some basic research.

Very subjective question.
For minimalism, Gentoo or Void.
For gaming, unfortunately, Windows.
For servers, FreeBSD or Debian.
For development, almost anything goes.
For hacking/pentesting, also everything goes, but it is generally considered easier on distros specialized in that like Kali or ParrotOS.
