Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Gnome.

A lot of "i use arch btw" people hate Ubuntu but listen to me. Every time you get an error, there is always someone that has been there before with a solution or are happy to help you out.
That is not the case with a lot of other Linux distros.

Never had a problem with it, and if you got a good laptop it runs real fast + really easy to setup full disk encryption.

I use Debian and use Vmware to do windows stuff. Most of the time I use debian, stable.
