Folks, i have some old whats app backed up crypt6 Db files. i used to own a number which i lost and never got reissued. after 6 years i had to look for some piece of info from this old chat.
i dont have my old phone or number .
i searched everywhere and pretty much everyone says same stuff that without key it cant be restored.
can any of you folks help me here.

 There was "Omni-Crypt" android app that covered v6 but i think it need the key. Till v.5 it could be decrypted without key (https://andreas-mausch.de/whatsapp-viewer/) but it jumps from v5 to 7 so not sure if it can do something for your backup. It's open source, maybe you can give a look at the code and find a solution...
