Omni claimed that new sb took 6 months or so to code when it could easily taken less then 1 week. Nobody much stayed there only to make quick buck. I dont reallly care about the forum anymore but still most people are aware of how shit it was at the end.

You’re saying that it would’ve taken 1 week to properly code a system that includes several different features and functions for performance and security? RaidForums’ Staff weren’t paid, the exception being Jaw who ran a Middle Man Service like Omnipotent. RaidForums’ Staff (besides Omnipotent) also had no control of development.

I know a lot of people feel burned by what happened to RF, but I think we have to just take a step back here and enjoy the forum for what it is. BF in itself isn't even a week old, and people are already worrying themselves sick about stuff that is already in the works.

I, and probably Pom, can't predict how long everything will last but we are taking the lessons learned from what happened to Raid and trying to put in failsafes and features that avoid the same fate. If you want the community to succeed, then contribute, and try not to be so negative.

Also, a point I think should be made since Pom hasn't, is that there is no value in endlessly talking shit about the RF staff. None of us truly know the situation until RF staff come forward, so calling them money hungry and silly shit like that is not necessary. Don't forget, some of you in this thread were not only banned from the forum, but some of you were endlessly on the forum and now have no issue shitting on the same people you had no problem talking to day in and day out.

So rather than dwell on what Raid was, consider what Breached can be.
