Well a few hours ago I shut down the my PC and usually unplug it (not sure why) and my startup is usually my email & when I just went to log in my name was changed to HFGHN GHNHN lol.

I assuming it’s probably a link I went to or something I downloaded and someone got access but what damage could they have done with full shutdown and unplugged computer? I’ll run Norton full security scan to see if I can pinpoint the virus then do a cleanse I guess of my PC. Any recommendations just a normal wipe data and content or should I go deeper than that?

Yeah I’m running a scan right now. Think after a restart I’ll just stick to using tails on a external flash but I like using the clearnet because it’s so much faster lol
