Rant about unusual/suspicious logins

Hello, I would just like to rant to someone who may or may not share my point of view. Lord knows most look at me like I am a nut when I go off on this but here it is. So I cannot stand what the internet has become, I long for the days when having a password meant you had access. Now I realize that many will say but its more secure, but over the years I cannot count the number of accounts I lost because they deemed my login as suspicious while some guy in another country has free reign of my account. I believe that companies truly over step their bounds, Keep the data secure, Require strong passwords, use strong encryption methods. However if I choose to login on a new device, a new location or both do not prevent me from accessing my data! I don't care if it may prevent theft it may also prevent me from doing what I need to do, Obviously dabbling in dark corners of the internet I may or may not notice the effects of this more severely than your average user. However I venture the day will come when a phone will break or they need to check email from an unusual location and be prevented in the process. Surely this has lead to lost time, frustration and possibly monetary gains. Well just wanted to get that off my chest, I don't mind the 2fa and the like but these companies who take it upon themselves to prevent logins that they deem "suspicious" are annoying as @$#*. If I didn't turn on 2a or request some special protection don't just thrust it upon me. I've lost too many of my own accounts to this that I imagine I am alone.

Anyhow, Have a nice day! Happy Crackin and Hackin!
