GamingVPN is my current favorite, they don't store data and have a thing so you can have certain apps use/not use VPN

If you care too much about anonymity just route all your traffic over TOR

I am using clearVPN mostly because I am using macbook and its coming with a subscription to setapp.com. also using a couple of other tools in that subscription with the money you can pay for other vpn solutions. but I am not doing anything critical!

Proton, Mullvad & Windscribe... (Also honorable mentions Tor, Brave (built in tor mode) Epic Browser with encrypted proxy etc...

been using windscribe for 4 years no compaints so far
