Using telegram anonymously?

use vox or bluestacks to sign up with a rented phone #, then login on desktop; it's really not rocket science.

In reality, telegram does not have a default encryption option for private messaegs. For a message to not be interfered it needs to be thru a secret chat feature, which is not ideal since many newbies that try to get better privacy. Telegram has been subphone'd by german police earlier this year so i would avoid telegram for doing anything illegal.


Could you recommend another IM service that people in this community use? I did a quick browse through the marketplace and it seems most sellers are using telegram.

It has some useful info on some of the steps you are looking for.
If you want a short version : here let me put it how i did it.
Step 1: Install bluestacks on windows inside VB. Make sure to use vpn/tor network. 
Step 2 :  Install telegram on bluestacks
Step 3 : sign up using any of these virtual number provider sites using monero shuffled through localmonero.co
  • Recommended: Do not require any identification (even e-mail):
  • Do require identification (valid e-mail):

    Step 4: once you are signed up just save that machine state in VB and quitStep 4: installl Telegram desktop and route the network via TOR or use telegram desktop in browser (use whonix)
  • Step 5: Should be all set up.

I eventually figured out a solution pretty similar to this, but thanks for sending an actual working method instead of just telling me to "use an online sms provider"
