Double VPNs are useless if the server is from the same provider.

If you trust the provider, than double VPN seems overzealous... but... can you really trust it?

You can use a public Vpn on outline, for example, which many people use, or create your own and give away for free and then all the connections will mingle and it will not matter on the logs

Free service are never completly anonymous but IPSec/ssl is not worth it compare to the complexity,
