Bro, dave chappelle is literally the goat comedian. He knows how to make funny jokes that makes us realize reality and how fucked we are.

It’s Chappelle’s ability to respond to the realities of that time — to racism, sexism, policing, and government mismanagement — with humor and precision that captivates them now.

I loved Chappelle show, watched it countless times. And I really enjoyed his first two Netflix shows. 

Everything he's done since is falling flat though, I say that as someone who's liked him for longer than some of his fans have even been alive. He's been kind of weird since he came back from his isolation.

Literally this point right here. I LOVED his first stand up coming out of his isolation though, that proper tickled me, but as you say, his stuff is falling a bit flat. He should've just left it at this 2 netflix shows, then retired or sth after that.

I think a big part of the problem is it's hard to care anymore. He used to be an underdog and back then, him pointing out failures of society and all the fucking ridiculous shit everywhere was great. 

It's hard to get any of that feeling from him now he's obscenely rich and frankly, kind of out of touch. Skinny, non-chain smoking Dave was better.
