I don't think the use of arrogant here even makes sense. I see this word misused so much and I don't get why. How does someone believing there is only life on Earth make them arrogant? It could be said it's arrogance if they said something like the only intelligent life in the universe are humans because it's not possible for other life forms to be more intelligent.

Yes they do and they look like us 

The universe is huge. Incalculably huge. If we assume that the probability of life on a particular planet is X, then X * 200000000000000000000000 habitable planets are expected in the universe. For this expression to be equal to 1, X must be incredibly finely matched. So definitely we are not alone in the universe.

Maybe, difficult to say anything.
