Anonymous Warns FIFA #OpWorldCup #OpFIFA

Anonymous hacktivist a group that has been conducting cyber operations against Russia and its allies since the invasion of Ukraine is now targeting FIFA and threatening to have Iran banned from the World Cup.
The pledge coincides with the hackers' #OpIran initiative in support of more than a month of protests in Iran following the death of Masha Amini in police custody on Sept. 16, three days after her arrest and alleged beating for improperly wearing a hijab in Tehran. Anonymous accounts on Twitter reported nowadays that they had shoutdown the websites of the Government of Qatar communications office — promising “more targets incoming”. “Qatar you’ve been warned replace the Islamic Regime team with #Ukraine,” noted one Anonymous account. “You should have expected Us.”

In the past, Anonymous has fulfilled its promise of conducting cyber attacks on the government of Brazil during the football World Cup.

Any ideas of what will happen during this tournament? We'll wait and see.

are you for or against?

Do you remember the 2018 Olympic games cyber attacks? Those operations were conducted to dig up sensitive information such as medical records of famous athletes that were leaked if I recall correctly. Russian operators have been accused for undertaking such operations.

Of course I am against these kind of attacks, however I would not be surprised if certain entities would use these pretexts to conduct cyber operations for their own purposes.

Don't involve politics in sports.
Leeches go straight to hell. To the boiler room of hell. All the way down. Sometimes I pull them out just so they think everything is going to be ok, but then I put them right back in.
