I was banned for posting my shoppy, it had a ton of listings and was made a ways back and apparently because some old listings had public databases i didnt notice.
I wasn't scamming anyone most small db listings where something like a dollar and alot of databases are private and dumped by myself some are general data packs as a collection.Bulk collecting of data for preservation i personally don't see the issue with around 12 terrabytes of data preserving things personally i feel is important.
Anyway I feel banning my account permanntly rather then closing my thread and notifying me of the issue.
Also the same day i posted a few new site dbs i dumped myself and have made an effort to freely share a few private databases and sometimes people say things are public where you cant find any refference on google so sometimes verifying it can be a pain.
basically mis listings and old listings for a small price seems a fixable and not a big issue given the huge amount of cheap private data which i dumped myself including a national bank.
anyway Id like to appeal the ban I didnt know promoting my store had regulatory stipulations outside of not scamming peoples money. In the runescape hacking community which is one niche i come from for example on private and small forums and groups from 2009-2014 databases that where given freely but without them being publically preserved and widely shared they became rare and have value as rarity theirs alot of ways to hack accounts and some old data in long running games like runescape 20+ years old is extremely useful and some databases to this day no findable even for sale or in private collections of databases shared publically exist and the only way for example one came back into existence was finding a dropbox i made like 8 years earlier and found the last surviving copy.
anyway some of my listings I view and since im knee deep in the rs community preserving useful data to certain things like account recovery,email phishing and targeting players .50 cents or a dollar is more reasonable then many people + alot of things when i posted them it wasnt obvious they where shared and some of my data colectors specifically want old and obscure runescape,gaming and miencraft data etc i was offering 10,000$ USD for salmoneus.net 's confirmed database a old site which still exists at one point.
so i look at it as a way for some cheap listings to just keep things available to people who want it listings are fairly titled with ages, descriptions include full file name including age and if you look theirs tons of privately dumped dbs by myself and large datapacks and ive shared private dbs big and small freely.
if the shoppy is an issue can my thread of it just be removed and i be unbanned and for data sales make specific sale threads for data or a new automated store thats designed for here?
