Years ago I thought that what is right and what is wrong depended on the laws. As I have grown older I have come to realize that this is not always the case, and that the false bubble of security provided by our governments is just that, a deception.

I was taught that politics depends on ethics, the social contract and a whole bunch of nonsense.

Why do I say it's nonsense? because it is clear that people are starving, that there are wars and flagrant injustices that are far from this "social contract".

I would like to know what are the moral rules on which you base your lives, because I am a bit lost, broken and disappointed with society...

I go by my own rules, anything else is a scam. Follow your soul, don't lie to yourself, maybe psychedelics will help you find the right path.

The problem is that you have to find a balance between what is "right" according to society and what you consider to be right, otherwise you can end up in a bad situation...

For me, for example, anything that maintains my standard of living without harming individual people directly is fine.

Other people may have other values, I would like to know

difficult to answer this when we know that from birth bad moral rules can be put in the head of children, who grow up thinking that only their moral rules are right.

to answer this question you really need to detach yourself from everything and really get to know yourself

Not many do these days. I certainly don't. It's damn difficult.

These are the basic moral rules:
1. Love. Love your neighbor as yourself. Put yourself in the shoes of others when making a decision that affects them.
and,
2. The FEAR of God. There is a creator and we are therefore accountable for all our actions

The rules my ethics are usually based upon is the phrase, if it aint hurtin no living being but one's self, its fine, im usually an eye for an eye person but do believe atleast one chance should be given if it aint serious enough.
