Only complete losers pay ransoms. You have absolutely zero guarantee that the hacker won't sell / release the data after. What's so bad about health records leaking ? Bad for their corporate image but who gives a fuck looking at someone elses health record ... maybe for some high ranking officials but those won't go to a regular fucking hospital lmao

Well I have to say I will never even attack a medical center or a hospital in my entire life.
I still have ethics.

For ordinary people, no one should care. However, if you have any sensitive history, there may be bored people who will harass you or something. That will be annoying.

The Optus and Medibank affairs really pissed off the Australian government.... expect a great response from them, and maybe it is not a case that the onion site of REvil is down since days...
