I understand 8 credit is not too much if you just get it by posting replies to existing threads but, why such a specific amount? and what factors do you consider that much worth?

It seems to me that the system of credits is necessary for allocation. It's surprising when the base of millions of rows is the same as the base of several hundred rows.
