This is a repost with some changes because my old application was titled using my old alias.
Q: Have you fulfilled the listed requirements?
A: Yes.
Q: Who are you, what do you do, and how did you find our site?
A: My name is Astaroth but people also call me Felix. I enjoy programming and just talking with people in general. I found the site via a friend of mine as a replacement for Raid Forums.
Q: Do you have previous moderating experience?
A: I have experience with working on different DW forums on trial moderation teams, although a lot of my experience comes from IRL. Whether it be working on support teams, moderation teams and development teams, I have experience in each sector.
Q: Why would you like to be a staff member on BreachForums?
A: I believe that I can apply not only my knowledge but my kindness and empathy into my position here at Breached. I personally do not like to apply any kind of toxicity into the way I act, which I think can make me a much easier person to work with and may give a better name to BF as a whole. On the other side however, I would like to support Breached. I appreciate all of the people I have met here and the owners/moderation team and I would like to help everyone else out. On top of this, I already help new users who need help on the forum and I try to do my best reporting spam and leeches.
Q: What would you gain from being a staff member?
A: I would gain not having to deal with leechers and spammers in Shoutbox and various sections. They are the one thing taking away and making my experience on the forum bad. Besides that, I would gain nothing. My work for BF would be a donation of my time and I don't need any sort of pay.
Q: What would the community gain from you being a staff member?
A: As mentioned before, I would like to think of myself as a very level-headed and empathetic person. This makes me easy to work with. On the other side, I also have a deep understanding of the culture here and I believe that it is hard to hate or have any sort of animosity towards someone like me. I have a lot of free time in order to help people with whatever may be necessary, which I believe makes me a good candidate. One other thing I would like to note is the sort of toxic tenancy that some (not specifically this) forum have. I try be kind to everyone I meet, despite if it is the first time meeting them or not. I already help a lot of people on this forum as well, so I believe that I would be able to help people a lot more when there aren't any other moderators online. I've been on the forum while people are spamming and no staff members are on to deal with it, which is extremely infuriating and I wish there was more that I could do.
Q: What's your favorite section on the site?
A: It is hard to pick one, so I will name off a couple of them and why. First, World News/Technology News. I love hearing people's opinions and debating with them. I am also a large fan of the Music Section. I listen to music almost all hours of the day no matter what I am doing so I enjoy sharing and hearing what other people enjoy too. Lastly, I would have to say the Programming section, though I am disappointed that there is not more debate and it is more of a section for people to ask questions, but I also love it when you are able to help someone with an issue and resolve it for them while also teaching them something new.
Q: If you could pick a section to moderate, which would it be?
A: I would like to work in the Verified Leaks Section. I believe my prior knowledge on data leaks will help when trying to piece together if a leak that someone is selling is legitimate or not. Of course, I believe that a lot of people may put this as an answer so as a secondary, I think that working in a lot of the General Sections (The Lounge, World News, etc...) would be a place I would also enjoy working in. Another option that I would be interested in is either Shoutbox or Ban Appeals.
I hope you deeply consider my application, and if you have any questions please feel free to send me a message.
Also, I would like to give a shoutout to Armadyl. I used his layout to structure my application.
