In my personal opinion, this is one of the best websites you can use to host projects of yours. Cheap, affordable hosting with insane quality.

I've always thought vultr is kinda trash... they have decent DDoS protection, but that's about it.
Personally, I used to always use DDoSDeflect, but these days I use FlokiNET (if you've ever used cockbox, Vincent is using a flokinet reseller account... so you can just buy the hosting direct ftom Flokinet for cheaper. Nodes are in Romania, Netherlands, Switzerland, or Iceland)>

FlokiNET still seems kinda expensive, have you ever tried pq.hosting?

I haven't, will definitely look into it though.. and FlokiNET is fairly cheap when you take into account the fact that the price includes DDoS protection up to 1.2TBPS+

that is kinda cool tho for only small projects you could just use a free cloudflare plan

Tbh tho even dumb skids are capable of bypassing cloudflare to get your backend IP.. I use cloudflare with flokinet.. so if someone bypasses cloudflare nameservers to resolve the real backend IP, then they're still gonna need to be capable of hitting 1.2tbps+ on top of that, in order to down my site.

there are ways you can set up cf so they don't leak ur real ip tho that is pretty advanced and you are right there are always other bypasses

Yeah tbh even if CF is setup "securely" to prevent leaks, skids are still capable of finding bypases lol. It's always been stupidly easy. I often use a php dynamic img paired w/ .htaccess mod_rewrite ruleset to pull backend IP,  provided the site let's me embed an image somewhere (for example it could be done on here via [img] bbcode)

wix.com is the best website hosting I have ever used, and no one can tell me otherwise.

Funny you mention this because I recently came across them. Pretty good overall. Speeds are misleading but the locations they have + the prices are good enough.
I enjoy passive walks in x86 assembly.
