help picking out motherboard

Im wanting to build a computer here soon & im not sure what mobo to go with. I want to keep the build pretty cheap kinda a budget build. Could someone recommend me a motherboard that won't break the bank but will also be future proof & upgradeable. I want a fast setup preferably an Intel motherboard. Im not really worried about the graphics card atm I can always upgrade that down the road I plan on just using the card I have now (2080ti). Ive looked at some mobos on newegg but to be honest I don't really know what to look for far as specs n what not when it comes to picking out a motherboard...

What would be your budget. I personally prefer amd because their b550 boards start at 110$  for a more than decent board. I can surely find you an Intel board it that's what you like though.

Don't really have a budget for the overall build as ill be buying a part here n there but im not looking at dropping like 300$ on a motherboard either haha. I just want to get parts that are current & will last a few years n be able to handle well. I just don't know what to look for when it comes to motherboards; I just know you need a good one haha

You should look into the 12th gen i5 processors. They are not as expensive as the flagship models of that generation but still deliver a ton of power.

Don't buy B550, X570, B450, or older boards. I would buy an X670  or b660m board. it has 5 years of new cpus compared to intel's 2.

b660 can be good
