Hey, I've been writing code for the past 15 years or so and always had a interest in security. In the past years, I've taken a keen interest in WordPress, given how big a reach the technology has and have released some wildly successful products. Unfortunately, I found that none of my colleagues, nor the core team, nor...really anyone is interested in discussing security topics within the context of WP, which is crazy - given how much coverage it has, one would think that, especially out of the box, you'd be getting some beefed up security, yet...ok, too long for my introduction!
I'm very interested in WordPress and I know the core like the back of my hand. I've disclosed 3 high-severity vulnerabilities to the core team and have made attempts to standardize/educate people about "hidden uses" of certain core functions. I'm not interested in any black-hat activity whatsoever, I'd just like to find more people to discuss WordPress security (both direct & indirect) with.
Also heavily interested in technology. You can find me trying to fry...I mean overclock, yes, overclock my stuff.
