I thing soon russian economy will collapse and the russian residents will be a victims because of the president dream of reborning Soviet Union. What do you thing about that ? Europe needs to get their resources (mostly oil) from Russia at some point since Europe can't function without it. Cutting off the pipeline will just increase the demand in oil which means they will earn more by selling less oil. Supply and demand of course but when they have cut off his equipment, how they are going to provide with oil and gas. But just so that you know, there are still pipelines going from Russia to Europe (I will link the source at the end). At this point, nobody can predict Russia's next moves. But it will always come down to money and political power. I'm not even sure if Europeans should worry or not. source for pipelines : https://www.statista.com/chart/26769/russian-european-gas-pipelines-map/ I don't think that the president is so dump to attack NATO ally because it will trigger article 5. He exactly knows the consequences after even nuclear attack. Rather Europeans should find other sources for supply chains for petrol and gas, there are a lot of countries linked with the russian petrol. Probably they will turn to Norway, Canada, USA or Saudi Arabia. We will see, I don't have a magic ball :D Patience is King, Strategy is Queen, Education is Father, Persistence is Mother ! 😎 Posts: 509 Threads: 0 Joined: N/A October 5, 2022 at 7:39 AM To be honest, It wouldnt make sense that Russia would sabotage the pipeline. Just think about how much hatred there is from other parties against russia and who would benefit the most from such a move.
And right now USA is making the most money from this war with their "lend and lease" agreement where USA delivers all the expensive weapon systems, Ukraine pays leasing fees (exorbitant rates) and EU needs to give Ukraine the money (just look at the last news about it where USA preasures EU to give Ukraine Money - not loans, but just direct subsidies to keep up the payments to the USA)
So the further the war goes, the weaker EU becomes and the more resources Russia needed to weigh in ... so the onlyone who is winning all the time from this is the USA despite the fact that they pushed more nuclear weapons into east Europe even it was agreed that there would be no more nuclear weapons near Russia. So the agressor and the evil part is (again) way more USA based than Russia. |
