Who are you, what do you do, and how did you find our site?
My name is Nas. I have been into cybersecurity and tech in general for a long time, but only recently started taking it seriously. Right now I study a lot to improve my pentesting abilities and my general understanding of these topics. I also have some experience in programming, mostly python, but I'm also learning Rust at the moment. I'm not completely sure how I found this site, but I probably heard about it on some podcast or in a YouTube video.
Do you have previous moderating experience?
No, I have never been a moderator before.
Why would you like to be a staff member on BreachForums?
The reason I want to be a staff member on BreachForums is that I believe the community lacks in ways, and I want to improve that. For example, the huge amount of leeching that is on the forum. I also heard that people believe the staff is undermanned at the moment, so I felt like making an application for the staff role would be appropriate.
What would you gain from being a staff member?
By being a staff member I would gain more knowledge of moderating obviously, which as I said, I don't have any experience of. I would also gain trust by the community and the opportunity to moderate other sites.
What would the community gain from you being a staff member?
The community would gain a moderator who is happy to help with anything, and cleaner threads because I will make sure that people who leech too much get punished.
What's your favorite section on the site?
Shoutbox if it counts, otherwise, the tutorial section.
